Terms of Use
Effective September 19, 2026
Please read this first. Stride provides fitness, training, and nutrition guidance. It is not medical advice. Talk to a doctor before starting any training program, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness, or shortness of breath. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in your Apple ID settings.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Stride Hockey Performance, LLC ("Stride", "we", "us") covering the Stride iOS and Apple Watch apps and the website at stridehockey.app (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Who can use Stride
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you may use Stride only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms on your behalf. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity on your account.
3. Subscriptions and billing
- Stride is offered as an auto renewing subscription, currently $14.99 per month in the United States. Prices may vary by country and are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings. Deleting the app or your Stride account does not cancel a subscription.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part of the trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- We may change subscription prices. You will be notified in advance and given the chance to cancel before a new price applies to you.
4. Health and safety
Stride is a training tool, not a medical provider. Nothing in the Service is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and the Service is not a substitute for a physician, athletic trainer, registered dietitian, or qualified coach.
- Consult a physician before beginning this or any exercise or nutrition program, especially if you have a medical condition, an injury, or are under 18.
- Strength training, sprinting, plyometrics, and physical testing carry a risk of injury. You choose to perform them at your own risk. Use proper technique, appropriate loads, safe equipment, and a spotter where appropriate.
- Stop immediately and seek medical attention if you feel pain, faintness, dizziness, or shortness of breath.
- Nutrition guidance is general. It does not account for allergies, medical conditions, or medications unless you have reviewed it with a professional.
- Scores, projections, and sample results shown in the Service are illustrative. We do not guarantee any specific performance result.
5. Your license to use Stride
We grant you a personal, non exclusive, non transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own training. You agree not to copy, resell, or redistribute programs or content from the Service; reverse engineer or interfere with the Service; use it to build a competing product; or use it in a way that breaks the law. Coaches and organizations that want to use Stride with a team should contact us about team plans.
6. Your data and content
You own the data you enter. You grant us permission to store and process it to operate and improve the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may use aggregated information that does not identify you to improve our programming.
7. Our intellectual property
The Stride name, logo, app, training methodology, assessments, scoring systems, and content belong to Stride Hockey Performance, LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not give you any rights in them beyond the license above.
8. Third party services
Stride works with Apple Health, Apple Watch, and other third party services. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that data from sensors and wearables will be accurate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stride Hockey Performance, LLC and its owners, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any personal injury arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
11. Termination
You can stop using Stride and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these terms or misuse the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
12. Apple terms
If you downloaded Stride from the App Store: these terms are between you and Stride, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is not responsible for any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal compliance, or intellectual property claims. Your only warranty remedy from Apple, if the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, is a refund of the purchase price. You must follow the App Store usage rules and any applicable third party terms. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo and are not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Alabama, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. If the changes are material, we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Stride after that means you accept the updated terms.
